Lucia's Birthday

It was Lucia’s 22nd birthday, that Friday the 13th. And she had plans for the night. Plans that included Carrie-Bri, a dozen or so pals from work, and the Drunken Fish.
And that evening, Rose came over with Ben-Hur, Augustus, and Erasmus for “Howl’s Moving Castle”.
Upon Augustus’ arrival, he set himself down in front of Puck’s tub of cardboard blocks, and built himself a tower of odd shapes.
“Next Frank Lloyd Wright,” said Rose.
Then he browsed one of the Iceland guidebooks, and was surprised to find that alcohol had been illegal in Iceland up until 1989.
Shortly later, the other boys arrived, including OLeif (who had been at work), and after the movie (during which Collette heard occasional loud roars of laughter from the basement), they decided to hit Denny’s some time around eleven o’clock.
