Mad Knitting Machine

Sunday, January 4, 2009

Another Sunday. Another week over. Time was picking up speed.
Carrie-Bri had built a tepee for Puck in the living room after church, which he liked very much. He tromped around the living room, very importantly, making funny faces, while Carrie continued to madly knit her Dr. Who scarf, which was rapidly growing in length, one color after another.
“I had charlie horses in my hands when I woke up this morning,” she said.
After siesta, Mom made popcorn and plum spiced cider for everyone except Rose (who left to have an afternoon with Juliet making “fancy foods” and watching Brazil).
Meanwhile, Linnea was about to lose a tooth. She debated whether or not to tie it to a string attached to the inevitable doorknob, and then decided to wait for the natural option.
