Blood moon early that morning... silent orange lamp in the west...

This time Oxbear and Yali bring Patience to her fourth TV spot of the season... at KMOV Channel 4 studios... Yali is even glad he went... returns looking and feeling very cool in his tie-dye and sharks and a St. Patrick's Day terrier mascot pin he's given by a lady at the studio...

After pushing through my extensive to-do list of the morning, it's quickly after noon and the kids are busy fighting during lunch...

So it's time for an hour at the park... Yali throwing himself out into the warm world of bird song in full Harry Potter cape and wand... but yes it is hot... “What's that dripping down your face?” Patience asks him // “It's sweat...” **evil grin** “You want some?” // “Agh! No!” // “Here's some gifts!” **wipes sweat on his sister's arm**

Back home I flop on my bed for a few minutes – it's been a busy week – as Yali steps into the room and takes one look then walks back out calling for his little sister... “Patience, come here. I think we killed Mom.”

When I reveal that I am not – in fact – “killed”... Yali marches off to change into Puck's old black suit just because he can...

...while I check severe weather models for Friday... could get pretty wicked in the Midwest by evening...

Then – because Yali has been asking for weeks – teach him how to make lasagna for dinner... red sauce flinging across the kitchen, Yali giggling... Puck walks in with a handful of dried macaroni... “Here, it needs a little of this... OW!” macaroni slings out of his hand into the pan of beef and red sauce as Puck cuts his foot on a small piece of glass missed earlier in the week after yet another fall-and-crash from a juice glass on the counter... he and Yali then begin wrestling in the living room over Minecraft before Puck leaves for work...

Out to the studio for ninety minutes of Patience punching the ground with some fairly beat-up dance shoes... pale light in the east waiting for storms...
