During the morning,:

Carrie and Lucia departed for the Botanical Gardens.

Linnea and Puck chased a cat around the yard while Collette worked with Francis on his algebra.

Francis off to choir.

Linnea to choir.

Mom and Collette purchased Evangeline’s gift for her ‘baby show’ (as the bulletin mistakenly printed that Sunday).
After picking up the gift, Mom bought the three of them (which included Puck) soft pretzels from the Target cafe, before getting Francis and Linnea from choir.
There, Francis jumped the Creek’s car when it died.
Izzy was also out playing at Ultimate Frisbee with Francis and the other boys. He gave Puck a hug before leaving for the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Puck had discovered the trick of sliding down the stairs on his belly. In a slow fashion.
“Try it, Mama, try it!” he would call to her happily.
He had also been riveted on a particular song since Sunday, which he had heard at church.
“Sing ‘disa’, Mama!” he would ask enthusiastically.
And Collette would oblige him with the Swahili worship song:
“Kwake Yesu nasimama.
“Ndiye mwamba nisalama.
“Ndiye mwamba nisalama.
“Ndiye mwamba nisalama.”
