March 3
Over at the house…
-
Big news of the week: the U.S. Postal service was considering cutting off Saturday delivery service. A bit of a shocker…
-
Carrie and Rose were busy with chamomile facials before starting off their day of solving solar neutrino variance problems and preparing for a Wells Fargo interview, respectively. And Carrie had left a gourd of maté steeping on the counter with a note which read:
“No touchy! I’m curing.”
-
Later in the afternoon, Rose left to meet Juliet for coffee.
-
Francis and Creole hit another full afternoon of work before joining Mom and Linnea for pizza at church, and then Francis headed off to a meeting at St. Peters City Hall for further merit badge work.
-
And Collette and Puck joined Linnea briefly at her gymnastics lesson for the first time.
The gymnastics facility was a nice place. The bleachers were above in the balcony with two soda machines and windows. And below the balcony was a large gym of apparatus and floor space, and bins of soft foam blocks. On the walls hung many ‘State Champions’ signs and chalk-dusted trophies.
Collette and Puck spent another part of their afternoon outside, raking up dead grass and piling fallen branches in the backyard.
And for the night, OLeif was off to Memorial to practice viola with a quartet for upcoming services.
