Wake late to the cat's presentation of mouse remains left on the floorboards in the night... The Great Hunter... poor mouse had no chance...

Meanwhile Patience is watching “High School Musical 2” while Yale straps a modified sheath with plastic knife to his leg... “I'm gonna run around the yard to see how it looks” he explains...

Before ten o'clock Patience and I leave in changing seasons for the studio...

...while Oxbear teaches Yali how to tie a tie – Yali's been asking – and researches clothes dryers on his VR set...

Sit in the parking lot with the spring birds while Patience somehow has enough energy to practice reels and hornpipes another two hours with friends...

When we return, Yale is looking good and feeling good... “I'm way more 'hygienic'!” he announces... “I'm feeling pumped!”...

Oxbear – back from J's after breakfast donuts – shows off some of his new work-out equipment...

Then while Oxbear leaves to purchase the clothes dryer...

I drop Puck at work for four hours and bring Yali and Patience to our smallest park...

Sitting on a bench sinking in sunshine, birds coughing back to form... Sally and Linnea-Irish text videos of their Jersey Giant and Rhode Island Red chick batches... text back-and-forth with Puck about a new biodegradable plastic that will dissolve in sea water developed by Japanese scientists...

Yali and Patience are meanwhile playing “troll hunt” with chunks of branch for troll clubs and sand from the volleyball pit for “potions”... singing verses of “It's Raining Tacos”... they're only half-ready to leave an hour later... “We're playing Minecraft for real life!”

Home once again... after watching a TV clip of an American celebrity learning how to bake rye bread in the volcanic sand of Iceland, Patience is inspired to craft her own bread and gets busy experimenting with flour and baking powder in the kitchen...

Oxbear returns to install the new clothes dryer as Yali announces randomly to him... “Dad. I'm very grumpy with Mom.” // “Oh? Why?” // “Because I'm just turning that age...” he grins...

Sky is desert colors light and silhouetted trees at evening...
