Collette barely had time to squeeze in binomial long division with Francis before he left with Joe, Wally, Creole, and Puff ‘o Lump to meet up with more friends for air-softing in Moscow Mills.
It was another gray day.
In the afternoon, Linnea went rainbow hunting. She returned disappointed.
“I want a refund,” she said. “There’s no point in raining when the sun’s out. I want to know who runs this business.”
Then, while Linnea’s cracker and cheese plate was currently unoccupied, Puck swiped a Flipside cracker and ran behind the piano to hide himself until he was found out by Collette.
Linnea hitched a ride to spend the night, which made Puck very happy.
“Lila coming wiff us! Lila coming wiff us!” he cried.
