May 29th
Collette and Puck were home for the day.
Francis swung by around ten to mow the lawn.
While he did that, Linnea and Puck offered to wash the car, which they did very nicely. Puck took a seat on the driveway and patted the flowing streams of water.
Linnea spent the afternoon with Collette and Puck. She watched Puck while he napped while Collette ran errands to the seminary and library.
Mom was going to pick up the wedding cake in the Valley that afternoon and help decorate the reception hall.
Later, Collette joined Linnea and Puck outside where Puck examined sticks and Linnea climbed trees.
Puck saw one of the small neighbor boys talking to his grandpa across the street. He stared in concentration at this boy on a bike.
“Come here!” he commanded. “Come here, beebee.”
Then they took a walk to the fuel station where Collette gave Linnea a dollar to spend. She chose a Hershey’s chocolate bar and shared a small piece with her very appreciative nephew.
Meanwhile, OLeif was wrapping up the second half of a senior photo shoot that evening.
And Carrie would join the rest of the wedding party at the church that night for the rehearsal and a pizza dinner.
