November 12

That morning, while OLeif was putting on Puck’s snow boots (which he liked to wear as often as possible), Puck said, “I’m a little space ranger!” Then, when OLeif turned on some Caribbean-Dutch-Gospel, Puck hopped around happily, crying out, “Let’s dance!” He was in a happy mood that morning.

Then it was off to drop off OLeif at work to pick up Rose’s car to leave for seminary. And then to drop off Puck with Gloria so that Collette could help with the printing at the church office. Followed by: soup with Carrie, a drop by the post office with more adoption paperwork, Target for a few supplies for the orphanage in China where Mr. and Mrs. English would be traveling, and Dierberg’s for items to make cookies and cream fudge for the Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday.

After Puck woke from his nap, he took a ride on ‘Baby Bullseye’ in the music room and watched the traffic pass. As a school bus thundered by, he said seriously, “That’s a magic school bus.”
Collette opened a box of wheat crackers for him. He took one and brought it over to the photo of himself sitting on the side table by the couch. Then the tried to feed himself the cracker through the picture.

That evening, another comedy night with the kids, a giant sausage pizza, and other snacks.
