The rain continued, and it was starting to give Collette a bit of a sore throat, which she had inherited from either OLeif or Linnea.
Eating two of Carrie’s delicious scones with clotted cream did not seem to help, although Collette couldn’t help herself because they were so good.
Over at the house, there was a viewing of the first episode of the first season of Doctor Who for the benefit of the rest of the family who had not yet seen it.
In other news, Francis had been pulled over by a police officer, while driving his go-cart. The officer had explained to Francis, who was up at the school yard, that he couldn’t drive there due to insurance reasons.
That evening, while OLeif was at rehearsal at church and Francis was babysitting Puck, Collette met with Mom, Carrie-Bri, Rose, and Linnea for take-in Olive Garden: cheese ravioli, salad, and breadsticks over further Doctor Who.
