November 2

Third day of sun. Saint Louis seemed to be on a roll now.

The morning was started off with another visit to the notary at the bank and a pick up of reserved books for OLeif at the library.
“It’s my Mr. Rogers day,” said OLeif, slipping on his shoes that morning.
He did kind of look like Mr. Rogers with his cranberry sweater and slacks. A deviant from the usual OLeif get-up.

While Puck napped, Collette ran to the grocery store, bringing Francis with her (to pick up zip-ties from Home Depot) and Linnea (to join Francis in getting Arby’s for lunch, Linnea’s treat).

Upon return, the afternoon was still amazing. A cool warmth and winds and Puck played outside with Linnea. He took several rides in the wheelbarrow, traveled along the yard by Carrie, who was busy shoveling freshly laid rock to the backyard for the shed’s base.

Then it was home to make hot ham and cheese sandwiches for dinner while Puck kept tabs on the moonrise.
“He’s a little moon!” he squeaked happily, watching the brilliant white ball in the night sky.

This was followed with a Reeses-fest for OLeif and Collette once Puck had gone to bed, all snuggled up with newly washed Donkey and his pumpkin pillow.
