It was a big day for Emerald Drinker. Her little baby boy was born mid-morning down in old Louisiana, and on the same day as his aunt’s and uncle’s fifth wedding anniversary.

Collette spent most of the day resting around at the house, trying to get over the bad cold, while Puck was entertained by (and entertained) his aunts and uncles.

Meanwhile, it was time for a Doctor Who party. Carrie arranged the basement and hung a sheet on the wall for The Waters of Mars to be projected. There were Jelly Bellies and there was ginger beer. And, besides the five Silverspoon kids (minus Joe) and OLeif, four more guests attended: Alfonso and Velvet Candles, and Jimmy Dean. Velvet had made a tray of Doctor Who cookies, individual letters iced in blue (in honor of the Tardis), which were quickly gobbled up.
After the credits, everyone was quiet for a little while, processing the idea of a time-hungry doctor for the first time. These were some very serious moments in the life of Doctor Who. And it took time to contemplate.
