November 22

The morning was sort of gorgeous.

Puck was walking around with a hair dryer.

“I’m fighting the zombies!” he announced.

Thanks, Uncle Joe…

Around 9:30, there was an explosion of frankincense and myrrh all over the library. Puck had been experimenting while Collette was ordering Christmas gifts. And so… there had been further matters of instruction and consequences…

After Puck had done his time, out into the world of fresh winds. All the windows had been already opened to it. The highs were to be up to 76.

Off they went for an hour or more into the crazy winds, shielded by a wall of dark gray in the west. And Puck went flying along with a paper bag filled with new make-up sponge wedges, one of the other many little things that he happened across that fascinated him.

After lunch, the sky was full-covered.

Classic 99 streaming.

More wind.

Then, while Collette and Puck were busy playing ball outside, the rain began to lightly fall.

The downpour arrived in a darkening four o’clock.

The storm came in at the dinner hour. Crashing rain, lightening, thunder. Puck fell asleep almost immediately.

OLeif returned with mozzarella sticks and some SNL.
