Another gray one.

Francis was out mulching the leaves before choir.
Mom was leaving with Grandma in the afternoon for Powell Hall to listen to guest speaker, Mrs. Laura Bush.
Puck was practicing being Carrie’s ‘pillow’. He was also fascinated with smelling things: Francis’ shoes and coat, Mom’s display of artificial red berry sprigs on the dining room table, books, etc.
Linnea chowed down an enormous bowl of chocolate ice cream.

And that was pretty much it.
