Sunday…

6:30, up.

8:15, nursery. Dad was there as well. Plus two other adults. And only two crying baby girls.

10:45, last Sunday School class of the autumn quarter.

11:15, four Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. Very bad idea.

12:00, walk Linnea-Irish and Gretyl back to Gretyl’s house, with Puck tagging along, fat red fuzz winter hat and the sunnies, as he had worn to church that morning…

12:45, Rose returned from church with a sack of crackers, goat cheese, and smoked gouda for Carrie. And lunch of Shepherd’s Pie.

In the afternoon, it was decided that they would all go looking at houses in the city together.

As they were waiting to leave, Puck had a question for Francis.

“Are tornados your favorite thing, Francis?”

Five houses later, in University City and South City, they were headed home under brushed gold and rose and violet.

Back home…

Pizza, cheesy bread, cookie dough ice cream cake, and Abbott and Costello.
