Collette and Puck were at home. And Collette was already beginning to pack, as she was not entirely sure how much time she would have later in the week.

They read many books and word cards in the morning. And when Puck saw a picture of a matchbox car in his Highlights magazine, he tried to pull it out of the paper.
“Get it? Get it?” he asked.
Then when Collette explained that it was just a picture, and not a real car, he pointed to the picture and said:
“I go in it?”

In the afternoon, the rain returned, so Puck joined Collette in her exercises inside the house. He jogged and watched the push-ups and tried his hands at the other exercises, while wearing Collette’s green track shoes.
This was followed by helping Collette fix cornbread-sausage casserole for dinner.

And OLeif was off to class for the night.
