OLeif and Collette were headed for the Caribbean early Sunday morning, with Rose and Linnea.
The Itinerary:
Puerto Rico — Sunday
St. Thomas — Monday
Dominica — Tuesday
Barbados — Wednesday
St. Lucia — Thursday
Antigua — Friday
St. Kitts — Saturday
Puerto Rico — Sunday
It would be Linnea’s first airplane flight and her first time out of the country, not counting Canada. It would be Rose’s second time. OLeif’s fourth. And Collette’s fifth.
Meanwhile, Saturday morning started with a plumber arriving at 8:15 to once again siphon the tree root out of the house’s main drain. Then he and OLeif chatted about church and ministries, etc., until it was time to leave for the Silverspoon’s.
Upon arrival, Gloria was busy clearing out Curly’s room, finishing the painting, and preparing barbecued beef sandwiches for lunch. Puck helped root around and examine any of the original finds that were produced through the cleaning spree. This included taking apart an older speaker with Curly, watching his dad and Curly toss an old chest of drawers up into the air on the driveway, where it splintered apart, and jumping around on Curly’s mattress in the living room with both of his uncles…
Collette cut OLeif’s hair.
And Theodore was out teaching for most of the day.
That evening, OLeif was up at church to accompany on his violin for the special Open Mic Night, where he performed some back-up for Ecclesiastes, with Nacchianti, Judah, and then several others, including: Mrs. Scone playing the zither and the younger Bananas boy on piano, performing two of his original compositions.
It was a nice evening, and then home to finish the packing.
Then off again to foreign ports!
