Tuesday started with thunder and rain.
By the afternoon, the rain had left and the winds were high up.
There wasn’t much to the day, really. Tutoring, the kids had choir, Carrie was into her first papers of the quarter and more Arabic, Joe painted his next works on a pile of canvases, Collette hopped over to the grocery store for random goods for the week, Puck watched Joe wiggle around his ears with clothespins clipped on them…
And by the afternoon, the cool and the gray had returned to mix with the winds.

That night, OLeif was off class so Rose came over and they all had a monster movie night in the basement, watching It Came From Beneath the Sea over a frozen pizza, while the cool night winds brushed through the open windows.
