Outside

Collette and Puck spent part of the morning out in the sunshine. Puck immediately ran to the back patio for the barbecue brush, which he slapped on the ground every few steps, most likely envisioning it as another vacuum. Then he spun around the lamppost, giggling to himself. He followed this with practicing to jump off the front porch.
“Jump it!” he cried happily, tripping off the edge over and over again.
Then he watched with rapt attention — the UPS man delivering a box next door. The UPS man waved out an hello as he passed by, and Puck grinned.
OLeif and Rose dropped in for a sit-and-run lunch, then off to play disc golf at the park.
The afternoon brought with it cooling winds, graying skies, and fluttering greens.
After his long nap, Puck busied himself organizing his cardboard blocks, by shape, before running around outside again.
For dinner, they gathered around the kitchen table with burritos, orange sodas, and the Doctor Who 2008 Christmas Special.
Later that night, OLeif cracked into his first final.
