Rain Day

Monday, November 7, 2011
In which the better part of November is portrayed in the weather…

The rain had returned.
A pound of Dubble Bubble in the cupboard.
Some Berenstain Bears for Puck…
“But bears don’t really wear clothes and talk,” he said seriously. “They only say ‘growl’.”

The afternoon brought in the continuing steady drizzle.
Puck dug into a new package of orange oven-bake clay…
“Read the constructions, Mama,” he said, handing her the instruction sheet.
Johnny Cash.
Walkjog.

OLeif returned late from work; those old doldrums.
It was an angel food cake sort of evening.
Mars Hill special presentation of the fiasco of former missionary/ministry marriages.
A book of 1300’s England, started.
And OLeif had classwork; dictation to Collette.

Meanwhile, Rose had an 11:30 appointment Tuesday morning to tour an apartment in Dogtown.
