Saturday Attire
Yali walked out of his room, dressed for the day. His shirt was on backwards and his shoes were on the wrong feet. But he had still dressed himself, and that was the point. He dragged two Batman costumes behind him, both of which he put on over his clothes to wear around the house until Jacob returned with a box of kolaches just in time for his Saturday morning Bible study.
Meanwhile, Puck traded the rollerblades for sort-of-basketball shoes for Game #3 of the season up at the school gym. A difficult hour later, he saddled up for home with a Capri Sun in one hand and an encouraging talk from his coach, into 60-some-odd degree sunshine. Like spring.
