Scrabble & Chocolate Chip Cookies

While Mrs. Pretzel was on her mind, there was still time to talk and laugh with the others. Diana, Bing, Carrie-Bri, Eve, and Joe came over to Ivy’s Wednesday night for barbecue and OLeif’s steak sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies baked specially by Carrie. There was a viewing of The Even Stevens Movie and a sore attempt at Scrabble.

Meanwhile, Eve sporadically decided to have Carrie color her hair during the evening. She was quite excited about it, and liked the look when they finished at 10:30pm. Diana and Carrie were even contemplating getting their noses pierced with small diamond studs. However, Diana was leaving for Colorado that weekend, which gave them some time to think it over.

All in all, Collette concluded that through everything that was going on, and would likely continue on for awhile, it reminded her even more, just how much God was in control. Nothing would ever surprise Him, naturally, for He had everything planned out before time was even in existence. It was the most comforting thing Collette could think on.
