The kids' dreams come rolling in early that morning – “I was cooking bacon in the bathroom...” // “Someone tried to murder me with a comb...”

Around that same time the dog vomits just outside my bedroom door... that part is not a dream...

The weather is that kind of fantastic rolling wind and coolness one would expect for the first day of spring...

Hours of work in the morning before Oxbear – enjoying a highly productive day – surprises all of us with Penn Station for lunch...

Shortly later Yali and Patience are picked up for the Science Center with H cousins...

While Puck analyses and discusses the 1981 Mercedes in robin's egg blue with me and a 1977 Mercedes in a pale sand yellow... texts back and forth with Elmer about thoughts/options...

Kids return about four hours later from more encounters with dinosaurs and a stop at Turtle Park to climb the giant concrete reptiles...

Drop Puck off at work while we argue about “Jesus visions” in the Middle East...

And back to the studio as a dark gold light plunges deeper in the west on a cooler night...

Patience returns to the car with stories about how she and her two best buddies have officially decided to establish their own Irish dance school when they become adults...

And home to pans of very delicious corned beef and buttery small potatoes (and cabbage for those who actually want it...) prepared by Oxbear for dinner...
