Wednesday was a sick day for OLeif, who, after driving into work, decided that he needed to return home to rest. So after tutoring, Collette was dropped off by Joe, and she tried to take care of the poor dude on the couch.

Earlier, it had been another gray day at the house. And Carrie proceeded to strip her hair of its color in the mid-afternoon, leaving a dark red-blond before the next dye process. Her hope was that it would not stay red once she dyed it dark blond.

Meanwhile, Joe was getting final papers typed for his approval from the Scout master the next afternoon, more choir camp for Frances and Linnea, Rose was off to class again, and Mom and Dad were going out for the evening.

But it was a sick day, and it ended at about three o’clock in the afternoon.
