- Find Yali balancing on various garbage cans that afternoon, collecting as many mulberries as possible for his and Patience’s “feast”
- Make two visits to the Big House… once for Puck to mow the lawn (listening to Johnny Cash the whole drive over, one of his favorites) and to eat fresh peaches with Yali and Patience… and again that evening at the edge of a large storm, with a bag of knitting and a slice of pound cake, watching a fat toad hop down the front walk to wherever he planned to visit in a light rain
