Summer Break Day #50
- Plan Colorado road trip for Oxbear and the boys
- Oxbear spends most of the day running errands for church and its sound/video system
- Yali and Patience attempt to rescue the big woodpecker babies (who somehow survived the felled tree), stumbling around amongst the branches; not completely ready yet for flight
- Yali accidentally spills peppercorns all over the kitchen floor while trying to grind them in Jacob’s new grinder
- Mama’s lunch : Hershey’s bars… hey now, it’s a holiday
- Yali spreads an entire bag of creek rocks all over the living room window box to create a mini “Johnson’s Shut-ins” for his tiny stuffed bear
- Puck and Yali’s afternoon experiments result in spills of paint, grease, rice, and frankincense all over the house, inside and out
- Enjoy a big fireworks display with most of the family at the Big House with some impressive pops of sound, directed by Francis of course
