Summer Break Day #68

  • Signs of Patience on the premises – stains from little girl nail polish and water color paints – everywhere – also, lots of bits of cut-up paper and tape, so much tape
  • While Patience spends most of her day with her nana and cousin, and all the boys take a chill day in Colorado, I attack the tree again, inching closer and closer to a once-again clean yard
  • Sally joins me later in the afternoon, with Mom and Carrie-Bri arriving in the early evening to catch up on the important news of life, such as : purchasing homemade pickles while working a shift in East St. Louis on the ambulance, or discussing how many bathrooms Yellowstone operates, or once again confirming everyone’s blood type in the family, and other current events
