Summer, Day 74

The Rye family was visiting from Ethiopia that evening, after rolling through 16 states and 2 Canadian provinces – or something enormous like that – for their summer sabbatical.

So while the adults sat down for about three hours of conversation at one picnic table, the five kids grabbed plates of pizza and arranged themselves on the other table, to discuss normal topics for ten year-olds and seven year-olds and five year-olds. Like, black holes, and the physical location of Heaven.
