Another day of tutoring. The weather was dynamically frigid. Collette pulled on the brilliant cherry red Australian coat that Carrie had given her after her visit to New Zealand. It helped cut the cold.
Puck enjoyed his morning, as always, and eagerly called out for “high chair” when it was lunch time, where he feasted on toasted ravioli and orange wedges while watching I Love Lucy with the rest of the family.
That evening, the crew came over for another night of comedy and a spread of pineapples, lemons, oranges, and lemons, and coconuts filled with tropical sorbets.
But first — the President’s farewell address. What a noble man. He had given so much to his country. And Collette couldn’t help but smile as she watched him speak for the final time as President.
