"The Happiest Celebration on Earth"

July 1st – Canada Day. The coming weeks held some potential for difficulty and Collette figured she would have to brave through the best she could, as would others. But life held both sorts of times – the good and the bad – and in the end, they all turned out for the good.
Meanwhile, Thursday evening, Collette watched Francis and Linnea while Dad came home from work, Mom was with Rose at 5-Day Clubs (she had three every day) and Steak ‘n Shake for dinner, and Carrie-Bri dropped Joe off at the Silverspoon’s for Scouts after she went tanning…
Meanwhile, Francis and Linnea were excited to show Collette the intro DVD to Disney World – the happiest celebration on earth. It was quite entertaining, and even Carrie seemed somewhat open to the idea of going there for vacation.
“Oh, good!” Linnea exclaimed, when she saw a clip about a “Pirates of the Caribbean” exhibit, “I get to see Johnny Depp!”
“Well, Linnea, I think he’ll be there next summer when the next Pirates movie comes out.” Collette told her.
Linnea crossed her arms across her chest and said determinedly, “I’m going there next summer, no doubt about it.”
“Why?” Francis asked, building an army tank on the living room carpet.
“To see Johnny Depp!”
“Donald Duck?”
“No! Johnny Depp.”
“Why?”
“He’s my favorite pirate, wha’dya expect?” Linnea growled her best pirate growl.
The idea of Disney World definitely seemed to be a hit. Dad soon came back and watched it with them.
“Now, just look at this. Come here, Carrie. You’ve got to see this water slide here… Look at that. Straight down, just straight down. Fifty-five miles an hour.”
“No way,” Collette exclaimed.
“Yes, just listen, he’ll tell you,” Dad nodded toward one of the hosts of the DVD.
And indeed, the water slide at that particular water park did include a vertical drop which rocketed the water-slider at fifty-five miles per hour to the pool below. It all looked quite fabulous.
