The Hun

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

OLeif was gone by 6:30 in the morning to a meeting with his dad. When the meeting turned out to be, in fact, on another day, he enjoyed breakfast with his parents and business discussion with his dad at his office. And Gloria dropped in for a short visit to see the little dandy and his new hair cut before returning.

A walk in the morning, OLeif fixed the neighbor’s computer, and the boys tried out their new jar of apple jelly on their peanut butter sandwiches at lunch.

By 1:39 in the afternoon, Collette just about started hyperventilating when she found out that she was related to Attila the Hun! She knew as soon as she struck the Hungarian vein that there was a good chance. Where one could go when related to kings — it was pure fascination.

In the meanwhile, it was only a day till the big green one. And Collette was looking forward to her one of two favorite holidays of the year.
