The Usual

Tuesday, December 4, 2007

The morning was cool, but not like December. Quiet, full of sun.

Collette spent her afternoon on hands and knees washing up the floor with a rag. Dust city. Puck crawled behind her drying the floor with his shirt.

For the rest of his day, Puck amused himself with his new tooth by puckering his lips. He also enjoyed his new rocking chair from Mom and rocked for awhile with his stuffed snowman.

The sun set in splendor that evening. A blaze of orange and red fire.
