Thursday took heavy rainfall in the morning – a silver rain.

Five hours of sleep solicited a sleepy day at the office, in which Ivy and Collette were given a new white bookshelf to place under their window, courtesy of Rosemary. Sunrise pieced it together and drew up a paper sign to label Ivy’s Sally and Lightening McQueen zoom cars (taken from a cereal box), which she then proudly displayed on the top shelf.

“Nicodemus was so funny,” Ivy was telling them. “He came home one day from work and said, ‘Where are the cars?’ ‘Well, I took them to work.’ ‘Are they coming back?’ And I told him, ‘It’s OK, honey. You still have Doc in the other cereal box.'”

Later, Ivy sent Sunrise downstairs to rescue her Dr. Pepper from the freezer before is exploded, about which she had forgotten in the usual Thursday-ish-ness of the day. And Ivy also made Sasha promise to color her a new picture for her desk, as the old one was fading.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth, Carrie, and Lucia currently found themselves in Chicago, anticipatorily awaiting the MUSE concert that night. Collette could only imagine the craziness about to ensue. MUSE was a dangerous word to use around them. Who knew what form their spasms of delight might taken upon the mention of such a word?
