Bus the kids to Yellow Bird with boxes of Capri Sun (and a freshly printed wizarding wand for Patience to show-and-tell) for an early Thanksgiving feast with teachers and friends… Yali and Patience fighting for part of the journey, buckled in tight next to each other in the backseat after the buckle pulled right out of the other seat last week… our things hate us
Home to research plumbers and clean the house to Baroque music while battling an unexplained stomachache

Two online calls, and a phone call while grabbing a free mac ‘n cheese from Chick-fil-A with Oxbear
Yali and Patience pick-up from Yellow Bird at three o’clock… layers and layers of learning and fun “as per usual”
Return to Oxbear on the phone with a plumber (can they come out in two weeks?… five people and one operational bathroom… there are folks with worse)
Order food boxes and firewood for the Diné elders
