By late Wednesday night, Dad, Theodore, and Izzy had also become sick. That made it official — the super virus had wiped out the whole camp.

While Puck napped, Collette completed the extended personality exam for OLeif’s class and continued her readings, including the biographies of Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn.
Later that evening, Puck was happy to eat “blue soup” (applesauce), as he called it, for an appetizer for dinner after a hot sink bath just as OLeif returned from seminary.
And though there was no routine comedy night with Carrie, Joe, and Rose, there was promise of getting back to normal that weekend with Valentine’s Day, more basketball games, and Francis’ 14th birthday, provided the bug had been ended.
