What is This... Pi?

Now that we knew we’d be picking up our little girl from China probably sometime over the summer, Puck was really hoping we’d be back by the time the school year began.

“So I can help you with your homework?” I asked.

“Yeah…” he grinned a little. “Because grandmas and grandpas… well, they had different ways of learning math back then…”

Oxbear cut in. “Multiplication? Back in MY day, we just added everything.”

Puck giggled. “What is this… pi?”

Oxbear laughed. “Back in MY day, they only had cherry!”
