World Market
It was another day over at the house. Carrie-Bri was tunneling through the trigonometry books. Rose registered for the GRE in November. Joe was gone all day at class, work, and biking.
While Francis was on break, he filtered through his laundry, then set Puck in the circular laundry basket. Puck happily giggled for the next several minutes, while Francis gave him a hover craft ride around the house.
“You’re in your space pod, Puck!” Collette called to him as he smiled at her.
Meanwhile, Mom told Colette about their day packing seeds.
“We were bagging Russian red kale,” she said. “We must have packed 6,000 bags that day.”
Later in the afternoon, while Mom kept an eye on Puck, Collette and Carrie took Rose shopping. After a black polo and a bucket of mini Oreos, they drove over to one of Collette’s favorite stores, World Market. Their autumn displays were already out, including: tins of apple cider tea, Bissinger’s pumpkin bark, and canned organic pumpkin. And among the wooden rings, scarves, wines, soaps, and imported candies, Rose decided to buy a carved wooden box containing spices from Thailand.
