Patience lounging on my bed that morning about half-ready for church... “I should get ready but... I'm too busy looking cute!”...

Yali meanwhile is fully ready to leave almost an hour before it's necessary... walks up to me with an aspirin bottle spinning the lid around on the top... “Guys! Doesn't this sound like a frog?”... it does...

Early afternoon Patience is collected by Nana and Papa to attend a student production of “Mary Poppins” where her cousin is one of the cast...

While she's out supporting the thespian arts... Yali and I take a walk together in bright sunshine... before he returns to practice dramatic death flips on the trampoline...

...and Oxbear prints a set of frosting tips for Patience in the 3D printer...

Puck rolls up about five o'clock – sun-baked face – smelling of campfire smoke and dirt and river water... asking for burgers...

...while Patience sings to herself in the kitchen piping snow white frosting onto a platter of cupcakes... pausing to chat with her brother in his bedroom doorway like a mini mom... “So... what did you do on your camp trip?”...
