Another scorching morning sends Patience out to the Big House... young R is waiting with a huge smile for her as she walks through the front door...

On the way back Yali and I hit the store for therapy expenses like Dubble Bubble...

When we get back... Puck is in the yard grimacing against the sun as he lights a pack of yard waste on fire in the overgrown fire pit... grumbling about how much he hates the summer...

It's mid-afternoon...

Patience is back from babysitting... splattering taco meat all over the stove yelling for paper towels...

...Yali is asking for a recipe to create fake blood while attempting rescue of a confused cricket in the bathroom... he's also lost another molar in a wad of that Dubble Bubble...

...and shower water is splashing through the basement ceiling again...

But there's no time for that nonsense because Oxbear and Puck have an appointment at the bank before picking up the Lincoln out in St. Charles County...

A couple of hours later... take a call from Puck on the baking studio parking lot... Lincoln is secured in parking garage and looking pretty fine... and enormous... so while all the boys ship back out to purchase a replacement brake light and pool noodles to gorilla tape to the carport post so the Lincoln's car door doesn't get dinged and so forth... followed by the new Superman movie for all three...

...Patience and I wrap a girls' evening at home with taco meat and pulling a splinter out of Patience's foot...
