Ezra told me

Patience is prepping an egg sandwich on the stove frustrated that the “hack” she learned about isn't working how she wants...

...while Puck preps to leave for the license bureau to settle the title for the Jag...

...Oxbear is at breakfast with a buddy...

...Yali is playing “Cops and Robbers” in the living room as a one-man-show... “Look Mom! Look Mom! Look! Look!”...

...and someone has dumped a lot of milk in the kitchen sink but of course no one seems to know about it...

A short time later Yali and Patience are tearing up the swings at the park for about half an hour before it's time to go...

As we walk back into the house to meet Puck for our next set of errands... Yali has information for me... “Mom? Me and Ezra wanted to know something...” // “Who's Ezra?” // “Ezra in the Bible... he told me to ask you if I can have a popsicle...” Okay Calvin...

After three attempts with faulty GPS the boys and I find Staab Battery for Puck's second attempt at kick-starting the Jag... success this time and fifty dollars cheaper than AutoZone... Puck is pleased...

Uncle Francis” is waiting at the Big House by one o'clock to work with Puck on the old automobile... they tinker and get the lights and windows working...

...while “Grandma” preps steak sandwiches inside for their big appetites... and shows Yali the butter she hand-churned at work...

and young master R runs in later for a plate of sweet potato and raspberries and “circle cheese” (aka Baby Bels) before we leave...

It's one more stop for the day in the late afternoon... volcanoes at the Omnimax and fruity ICEES for Yali and Patience... all that exploding orange light out of the earth... mesmerizing...
