Puck pauses from weight-lifting that morning while I'm down there working at my desk... he looks over at the lump of nondescript grayish fuzz “loafing” next to him on the mat... “How is a cat this old still this fat?” he asks... it is a continuous mystery...

While the boys are busy at home and working Produce through the afternoon...

Big House before noon for Patience and myself... most family is there for taco bowls and Carrie-Bri's homemade cheesecake with Chantilly cream...

B's mom arrives later... says traffic was stopped about half a mile down the road for a bear wandering around the school... black bears are coming back...

Drive home where Sally leaves her red pick-up in front of our house for the next few days... drive her to the airport for a little vacation trip...

Evening sees everyone home as Oxbear introduces “Tall Tale” to the young ones... and Patience randomly refers to the President as “McDonald Trumpet”... because I'm still not entirely sure she knows what his real name is...
