Wake from a sludge of semi-apocalyptic dreams to Yali making a gold skull “eat” my arm for a snack... he wants to show off his snake nestling through the aspen shavings waiting for his heat lamp... it arrives later in the morning and snake is one happy boy...
While Oxbear throws some breakfast burritos together... Mama deals with children playing too rough – Patience (still in beach braids) takes a head butt and laundry basket to the face before burritos are served...
While Oxbear and Yali get on the VR... pull out Patience's braids and pin in a white bow (she's got three back-to-back events today and hair must be ready for the evening)... then drive her through yet more rain (soggiest just-past April on record in STL)... for her two-hour class at the studio...
Return to submit baptismal forms online for both younglings...
...while Oxbear prepares a custom order 3D-print box for Puck's deck of waterproof UNO cards... while he and Yali laugh over “The Regular Show” together...
Oxbear leaves before noon to bring Chick-fil-A to Patience... “tail-gating” with her two BFFs at the studio before they all leave for Riverdance at The Fox... first Fox attendance, first Riverdance attendance...
Back home Yali is bouncing like a wind-up vintage plastic chicken across the floor to the 1963 “Rumbas Solamente Rumbas” album Elmer sends the sibling text group...
Rain is a tumblin' down driving Puck to work for a four-hour shift later in the afternoon...
And back home Yali discovers an unexpected souvenir in his snake's terrarium... “He shed his skin!” he declares proudly...
Oxbear and Patience spin back home around five with only enough time for Patience to change into her show team costume then back downtown to a performance for the Emerald Ball of the Ancient Order of Hibernians...
