Yali is in the living room impersonating various animated characters wearing a red t-shirt labeled “Science” and red face paint smeared around his eyes before breakfast... looks a little like he just exited a fight... which is exactly what you want before meeting with a mental health professional... a few minutes later watch a bottle of red liquid go flying through the air past the window... Yali's fruit punch bottle-flipping skills on the way to his weekly therapy appointment...
Patience and I are back for one last Pascua diorama splurge of activity before the big Expo... get myself one good last hot glue burn before the end... slap on a tie-dyed Band-aid before the blister begins...
Afternoon surges in... Puck busy consulting about Army recruiter communications... also chastising me for not owning a wardrobe that includes more pockets (I misplace my phone a lot)... but I'm a little busy calling about a malfunction in a medical billing system and also laughing a little that one of the front-runners for Pope is a fella named “Pizzaballa”.... Patience whining about lunch options but forgets about that to begin painting her nails in glittering lapis... Yali brings his snake over to watch “Antiques Roadshow” during lunch before also whining about visual arithmetic exercises... then somehow rubs a hole through the sleeve of Patience's souvenir t-shirt from Texas with Puck's axe-sharpener...
Splitting into late afternoon...
...the crew drops Puck at work under a shade of approaching rain on the drive to the studio...
...Oxbear to the old school for three-hour board meeting...
Yali sketches emotional-processing horror story-dreams into my notebook during the hour Patience dances...
Depart in a small thunderstorm becoming lingering rain... to home for dinner and laughing over funny old home videos...
